Books are really a great way to get more information or ideas from a subject, or just to lose yourself in a great read! Lately, I have been trying to read one educational book a month, in hopes to help me take control of my finances. And I wanted to share some of my favorites. Have you read these 4 books?

Before I break down the four, I wanted to confess that normally I listen to the books I am reading. And Audible is great for this (my husband does this and listens to a book during his commute to work each day – Try Audible and Get Two Free Audiobooks). Or my favorite Overdrive (which is through my library so it’s FREE).
Also, I have included two books that are not financing books. These books will help you financially by becoming more productive in your life, so I had to share!
HAVE YOU READ THESE 4 BOOKS?
There are many wonderful books and I am always looking for more, so please share your favorites! Because I need a new one each month, remember.
- “The Millionaire Next Door” – I really enjoyed this book because it made me realize that the people you think are millionaires are probably NOT. And the people that are millionaires you would never guess they are.
- “Total Money Makeover” – I hope you have heard about Dave Ramsey’s because he has helped many people become debt free. His book is filled with people stories, which I personally LOVE because it gives me hope!
- “The 12 Week Year” – This book is all about achieving your goals. And let’s face it we all are here to achieve something. This book will help you organize the steps you need to take. I would recommend a hard copy of this book!
- “Essentialism” – Is about helping you get more done in less time by ONLY completing the right things for your life. It helps you decide what is essential and stop doing all the other things.
So if you have not had a chance to read one of these books, I would recommend you do. They will all help you make your financial dreams a reality!
PS. Next on my list is “The Richest Man in Babylon“. Do you have any other suggestions?
